QUICK START GUIDE

Welcome to Droid Tycoon Pathfinder

Everything you need to track a complete Super Rebirth cycle.

Follow the matrix. Keep what matters.

The app keeps permanent path requirements separate from each account’s editable inventory, so progress changes can never erase path data.

01

Create and select accounts

Use the account menu in the header to track multiple profiles independently. Every account remembers its path, rebirth level, and droid inventory.

02

Set the path and rebirth level

Open the left CONTROL drawer to select Path 1–4. Use any − / + rebirth stepper—the drawer and both ends of the matrix stay synchronized.

03

Read the droid matrix

Each row is one droid and each column is a form. Numbers inside a cell are the rebirth levels requiring that droid and form. A cell showing “RB 13 · 15” is needed at both levels.

One droid, two rebirth requirements
04

Track the highest form owned

On desktop, click a tile to mark that form owned. On touch devices, tap the large left side. You can always use the row’s Highest owned dropdown for precise changes. Higher forms automatically satisfy lower-form requirements.

05

Inspect costs safely

Desktop users can hover or keyboard-focus any tile. Phone and tablet users tap the small 🪙 coin stack on the tile’s right edge. The tooltip shows purchase cost, chips from the highest-owned form, and every rebirth using that tile—without changing ownership.

06

Understand matrix states

Next objectiveCoveredFuture needNo requirement

The Next Objective card glows green when all three required droids are ready. A row marked Safe to trash has no future requirements on the current path.

07

Super Rebirth and rotate paths

Super Rebirth unlocks at rebirth 12. It clears that account’s droid inventory, resets rebirth to 0, and rotates Path 1 → 2 → 3 → 4 → 1. The confirmation screen protects against accidental resets.

08

Compare path efficiency

Open Path Analysis for upgrade-chip totals, rarity composition, rebirth-phase costs, roster overlap, and strategic observations across all four paths.

SECURE ACCOUNT TRANSFER

RELEASE LOG

Droid Tycoon Pathfinder

CURRENT RELEASEv1.12.3

Improved the clarity and proportions of the astromech hanabi pattern.

v1.12.3

Clearer astromech bloom

Denser round sparks, wider proportions, and a longer peak hold make the droid silhouette easier to recognize.

v1.12.2

Astromech hanabi

The firework pattern now uses a broad dome, central photoreceptor, cylindrical panels, side legs, and a center foot.

v1.12.1

Droid-shaped hanabi

Each firework now blooms into a spark-traced droid with a dome, antenna, eyes, body, arms, and legs.

v1.12.0

RB30 hanabi celebration

Three launched fireworks now bloom into layered spherical spark rings with glowing cores and gently falling trails.

v1.11.1

New Pathfinder tagline

The hero now invites players to speedrun rebirths in less than twelve parsecs.

v1.11.0

Blueprint flyby

Translucent Astromech, Worker, and Battle schematics now sweep out of deep space across the desktop hero.

v1.10.6

Prettier progression ordering

Droids first required at the same rebirth are now ordered by form tier before name, reducing visual gaps in the matrix.

v1.10.5

Sticky row order

Order By now remains beneath Rebirth, Trash, and Ignore while scrolling, using their actual rendered heights.

v1.10.4

Order row placement

The Order By row now sits directly above the Droid Matrix headers, after Trash and Ignore guidance.

v1.10.3

Longer Trash history

Up to ten previous safe-to-trash events now remain available to fill the space approaching the row pin.

v1.10.2

Reliable history fading

A short gradient overlay now visibly dissolves historical cards before the row clips them near the pin.

v1.10.1

Sharper Trash history fade

Historical cards retain stronger opacity and now fade only within the short area immediately before the pin.

v1.10.0

Trash message stream

Previous safe-to-trash events trail the current message and fade away as they approach the row pin.

v1.9.3

Dynamic rarity Ignore detection

A whole rarity is now ignorable when all craftable droids in it are off-path, behind the current rebirth, or future-complete.

v1.9.2

Grouped visibility controls

Hide Past and Hide Completed Future now remain adjacent immediately before the Order By pin.

v1.9.1

Visibility control order

Hide Completed Future now sits between Hide Past and the Order By row pin.

v1.9.0

Hide Completed Future

Droids whose owned form covers their highest path requirement can be hidden from the matrix and always appear in Ignore guidance.

v1.8.2

Pin and Ignore cleanup

Centered Route pin icons and hid individual ignored droids when an entire rarity is already represented.

v1.8.1

Route pin alignment

Shifted Route pin artwork slightly downward while preserving pinned and unpinned icon rotation.

v1.8.0

Route guidance rows

Rebirth Route now includes pinnable Trash and Ignore rows followed by an always-sticky All, Upcoming, and Missing filter row.

v1.7.9

Header view switch

Matrix and Route views now share one icon toggle beside the logo, replacing the previous desktop text control.

v1.7.8

Compact Rebirth Route shell

Route view now shares the persistent compact header, toolbar, event bar, and tightened filter controls without changing its cards.

v1.7.7

Consistent pin styling

The Order By pin now uses the same typography, spacing, background, border, and active state as the other matrix pins.

v1.7.6

Desktop order controls

Restored the opaque Order By background and reserved dedicated space for its pin button.

v1.7.5

Matrix control layout

The desktop rebirth row now shows the active path, and compact owned-form controls sit directly in each droid header.

v1.7.4

Simplified matrix states

Covered replaces Owned in the legend, and completed requirements no longer receive separate styling.

v1.7.3

Journey and tile positioning

Journey numbers now retain their natural proportions, while compact rebirth levels occupy the left half of their tiles.

v1.7.2

Matrix legibility

Clearer journey milestones, tighter rarity and type headers, colored droid types, and unobscured compact rebirth numbers.

v1.7.1

Compressed-view polish

Removed Path Analysis from the compact toolbar, corrected the account caret, and unified pin sizing and alignment.

Flexible matrix ordering, automatic trash and ignore guidance, pinnable matrix status rows, and an RB30 celebration.
